Claims management software

Claims management software for motor claims.

One claim. One record. Hire, storage, recovery, engineering, documents, correspondence and money — held together instead of scattered across a drive, an inbox and a spreadsheet.

The problem

Most claims software was not built for a motor claim.

A motor claim is not one process. It is four or five running at the same time, each with its own clock and its own daily cost — a hire vehicle out on the road, a car accruing storage, an engineer yet to report, a third-party insurer yet to reply.

Systems designed around a single matter treat those as attachments. The result is familiar: the claim’s real value lives in somebody’s head, exposure is only visible once a month, and nobody notices a hire running past the point it can be defended until the invoice is disputed.

What it does

The parts of a claim, in one place.

Intake that cannot pollute your data

Claims arrive from a public form, an agent or an API and land in a verification queue. Nothing becomes a client, a vehicle or a claim until somebody has checked it.

Workstreams with their own clocks

Hire, storage, recovery and engineering each hold their own dates and rates, and each feeds the claim’s value directly rather than through a spreadsheet.

Documents tied to the claim

Typed, permissioned and served only to people entitled to see them — not a shared folder with a naming convention and good intentions.

Signatures that stand up

Every signed document carries a certificate: signer, IP, timestamps, the consent text they agreed to, and a SHA-256 of the sealed file.

Correspondence filed automatically

Solicitor email is matched to the right claim on your reference or theirs, so the thread lives on the file rather than in one handler’s inbox.

Money that reconciles

Charges derive from the workstreams. Every figure on an invoice is reproducible from the stored rates and dates that produced it.

Where it stands

What is shipped, and what is not.

ClaimCore is in active development. Rather than describe a roadmap as though it were a feature list, here is the state of every module.

Customer & partner portalsClaimants, referrers, engineers, repairers and solicitors self-serve, so your handlers stop fielding status calls.Shipped
Guided vehicle inspectionsNine required views on a phone, walked in the order you go round the car. It refuses to submit while one is missing, and names which — so the photograph a defendant asks about eight months later was taken.Shipped
ClaimCore AIReads a document and proposes claim field values, each shown beside the exact words it was read from — checked against the document before you see it. Nothing is written until somebody accepts it.Shipped
Cited credit-hire assistantWould cite a named authority with a link, or decline. Not built: it needs a corpus of UK authorities, and in a litigated domain a citation the product cannot verify is worse than no answer.Planned

Questions people ask

What is claims management software?

Claims management software is the system a claims business runs its files in. It holds the claim record, moves it through a defined process, stores the documents and correspondence attached to it, and tracks what the claim is worth and what has been recovered. In motor claims it also has to handle the parallel workstreams that run alongside the claim itself — replacement vehicle, storage, recovery, engineering — because each one has its own clock and its own cost.

How is motor claims software different from general case management?

General case management assumes one matter moving through one sequence. A motor claim does not behave that way: hire, storage, recovery and engineering all run at once, each accruing cost daily, and the claim's value is the sum of them. Software that treats those as attachments to a case rather than as first-class workstreams cannot tell you what a claim is worth without somebody adding it up by hand.

Does ClaimCore replace a case management system like Proclaim?

It covers the same ground for motor claims and accident management work. ClaimCore is in active development and some modules are still being built — the platform page marks each one shipped, in build or planned, so you can see exactly what you would be adopting today rather than finding out in the demo.

Is ClaimCore hosted in the UK?

Yes. The application and its database run in a UK region, and stored documents sit in UK or EU object storage. Claims data carries names, addresses, dates of birth, bank details, medical detail and signatures, so where it lives is a procurement question rather than a technical footnote.

Can we configure our own process?

The pipeline stages, chase and SLA timings, rates and fees, document types, checklist and e-signature wording are all configuration held in the database and edited in the admin screens. Changing how your business works does not require a release from us.
