Microsoft 365
Correspondence belongs on the claim, not in somebody's Outlook.
Connect your firm's mailbox and the documents people send you file themselves against the right claim.
What it does
A solicitor emails the client care letter back with your claim reference in the subject line. The attachments appear on that claim, categorised, and the chase task that was waiting for them closes itself.
Without it, that email arrives in a shared inbox, somebody notices it, opens the claim, downloads the attachment, uploads it again and marks the task done — five steps that exist only because two systems were not connected.
How it is scoped
Reads run as your people
Under each agent’s own Microsoft permissions rather than under one service account with access to everything. Exchange stays the authority on who can see which mailbox, and ClaimCore cannot read one its user could not.
The firm is resolved from the mailbox first
Before any reference is matched. With no known firm the reference is deliberately not matched at all — which is what stops one firm’s reference finding another firm’s claim.
Duplicates are not filed twice
The same message arriving through two routes is recognised as the same message.
You choose the mailbox
Usually a dedicated one for inbound claim documents rather than anybody’s personal account. Configured by your administrator.
What permissions does it need?
Delegated permissions to read mail for the connected mailbox, granted by your Microsoft administrator through the normal consent flow. Reads run under the signed-in agent's own permissions.
Does ClaimCore store our email?
It stores the messages and attachments it files against a claim, because those become part of the claim record. It does not mirror your mailbox.
Can we send email from ClaimCore?
Claim correspondence and signature requests are sent from the system. Templated outbound campaigns are not built — this is a claims system, not a marketing tool.
What if the reference is missing from the subject?
The message is held in a review queue for somebody to attach manually, rather than being guessed at. A wrong automatic match is worse than no match.
Is this a Microsoft partnership?
No. ClaimCore integrates with Microsoft 365 using its published interfaces. We hold no partner status with Microsoft, and this site does not claim any.
See it against one of your real claims.
Thirty minutes, no slides. Bring a live file and we will run it through the system end to end.
